What's this doing in here ? Has nothing to do with the thread topic. It's Red Sox news if anything . They dumped him after us.

We are starting old man Urquidy and sophomore slump Smith soon. It shows that the Sox pretty much suck at developing starting pitching talent.

Urquidy tomorrow after the opener, Shane Smith next Wednesday against Cubs

Uh oh.

White Sox have given two pitchers away for nothing in Tobias Meyers and Shane Drohan that have now made significant contributions to Milwaukee playoff teams.

Seems like bench coach Walter McKinven needs to keep recruiting from that staff/front office...

And Dylan Cease is going to finish 1st or 2nd for AL Cy Young.

You mean they acquired 2/5 starting pitchers from Boston via trade...?

In English ! All I know is that it had nothing to do with the thread title of picking the next starting pitcher. You just came in here to stir the pot as if Drohan is the next great pitcher the Sox dumped. If you think that go start a thread about it. He's having a little bit of success in his 1st taste of MLB action 2 years after he was roster churn casualty. He has a whole .6 bWar. Non news dude . Maybe he'll help the Brewers fight off the Cubs.

You mad because it"definitely" wasn't Thorpe? Always so sure and always so wrong. I guess you were taught if you act like you know what you are talking about people will believe you.

Nope. I just assume that Thorpe “Ron-Willie” need two more rehab starts before he is ready. Any other questions, CaliDamus? 🤣

Very exciting to elicit a response from you when you aren’t spending your time stalking @southsider2k5. Congratulations on your personal development.

Urquidy he hasn't pitched since the 9th and only 2 innings then. Schultz schedule to pitch for Charlotte on Friday, Sandlin Saturday and Cannon Sunday. Strange no Urquidy for a while. Could be working with him preparing him to come up.

I wondered if he had an injury when seeing these things.

Thorpe once his rehab assignment ends on the 17th should be announced.

That’s nice to call out - I forgot Thorpe’s IL timeline is nearing its end. Interesting times folks.

Even if it gets the heart rate up.

Sounds like the Soxtalk Jerry Springer Episode.

If Thorpe or Smith isn't 100% then Jose Urquidy

Smith is so bad. Bringing him up is not the correct move
