That's a 6 run lineup at the very least today ! Holmes won't last 5 innings

Sox are due for a 4 run first inning.

This is embarrassing. He's out

Looked out

Scott Barry at first base today?

No Schriffdawg today.

Sox Machine did an interesting segment on him today. Sort of had me rethinking some of my dislike of him.

Kay's fastball is working right now

Nice clean inning all around.

I will say, I miss Farmio and DJ. I loved the banter and the way they would take the piss out of each other. Also thought Farmio was excellent at taking us into the mind of a pitcher.

I'm old school and think Wins should matter more then wins do in todays MLB.

If you are credited with a win as a starter that means you pitched at least 5 innings and kept your team in the game.

Or that you pitched 5 innings, did meh, and your offense wailed on the other pitcher. Wins are fun, and I'd like to see them mean something tangible again, but that time's behind us.

Sam didn't need to swing at that

No but it was a strike for a long time. Can't really blame him there.

Wonder if he’s running out of gas. He’s struggled big time since the ASB.

He really needs to get on base. I've been getting a little more irritated with him leading off.
