September 1Sep 1 Will be interested to see how he responds to the type of raw and upper stuff type of pitching he will see there.
September 1Sep 1 To me, he's almost in the category of being too advanced to be worth sending there. But the position switch is a good justification to send him down there.

Obviously he could play second too, but not sure he has the arm strength for third or how often you would even sit Vargas/Bonemer/Colson there.Maybe a combo of Chone Figgins/Zobrist, without the topline speed or light tower pop. September 15Sep 15 I am interested to see how Shelton fares. Terrific in A+, struggled early in AA. Could go either way
Tuesday at 03:51 PM3 days Congrats on All MILB second team!!!Andrew Fischer of the Brewers was the first team 3B with more than 50 homers. Also, saw Angel Genao of the Guardians on the second team list.3B: Caleb Bonemer, White Sox (No. 2/MLB No. 27)A+/AA: .251/.380/.550, 132 G, 37 HR, 92 RBI, 100 R, 84 BB, 161 K, 17 SB, 139 wRC+After earning Single-A Carolina League MVP honors last season, the 2024 second-rounder more than tripled his homer output in 2026 to 37. That was tied for fifth in the Minors, and everyone with more roundtrippers was older than Bonemer, who turns 21 in October.
Yesterday at 03:31 PM1 day If I attend this year one thing will be more noticeable will be more people wearing Sox hats.
Yesterday at 06:55 PM1 day Wonder what position he'll play. CF sorta looks covered at MLB level. Then again, so does 3B and 2B. He's not a MLB SS by anybody's grade, so this will be interesting. Good problem to have.

DH at bats exist too though I would rather not shove someone that young into a primary DH role. Would rather use that as a spot to rotate and keep guys healthy. Edited 8 hours ago8 hr by Bob Sacamano

People anointed Colson in a small sample size and it’s questionable. Bonemer can’t win the job in spring training, but it’s pretty fluid competition in my opinion

1 hour ago1 hr Trades are gonna happen. Maybe not right away, but. There won’t be a problem deploying Bonemer if he comes out hot next spring. He will have a spot.

I'd imagine it's something like 230/290/350 and around 1.5 fWAR (8 runs with the glove or so). But, they don't play the game on a spreadsheet, otherwise the Sox would be in Cancun this week instead of the ALDS.
