Replicating Taylor's 4 inning beauty against the same team a couple days later seems doubtful.Love me some Sandlin, but lefties have an .821 OPS against him. He dominates righties but gets hit hard by lefties. I'd be nervous using him against the Guardians for multiple innings.

2 hours ago2 hr Kay/Burke/Newcomb/FeddeThat's the combo I'd look for tomorrow. If the Sox can win Game 2 without burning Hagen and Taylor, that's a massive advantage heading into game 3.

Think the guy they hired was poached from the Mariners, whose vibes have gone in the opposite direction.Getz also cites makeup and chemistry for almost all of his player acquisitions now, and you of course need a manager capable of reading the room and building a culture.

Like, The Sox are 15 years behind. By the time they catch up, everybody will have moved onto to the next frontier. That is, unless you hire their guys, quickly put the resources in place without having to make the years of mistakes and adjustments the early adopters had to, then pivoting to embracing the cutting-edge stuff simultaneously.
