What were some of your favorite presents that you remember getting when you were a wee lad for Christmas, Hannaka (I'm sorry for spelling it wrong) or any other holiday you celebrate??

My all time favorites as a lad were getting Lego's, Trucks, and Army Men. I loved building things and my friends and I would always play war and crap. I was a hell of a creative kid...then Nintendo came around, that was a really cool gift to.

But unlike kids now adays, we played Nintendo when we couldn't go outside, not instead of going outside.

Well, when I was a kid I played with:

Some video games

LEGO

Lincoln Logs

When I was a wee lass, somewhere between the ages of 8 and 10, Santa gave me a book entitled, "Of Irish Ways." I was thinking about it a couple weeks ago and my mom said it's still around, in my brother's book case.

My favorites besides the above were FunPages tablets and the packages my Grandparents gave me - a pyramid of presents tied up with red and green yarn. For some reason I can't think of exact things I received for Christmas other than the few things I listed...

I loved my Lincoln logs too.

Legos

video games all of the way back to Pong.

Any baseball stuff (cards, equiptment)

Radio controlled stuff

I remember getting my first guitar in second grade. The action was so bad on it and the strings so high on the bridge that strumming it without a pick was like rubbing your fingers across a cheese grater. Ouch.

That is my list for this year.

I Liked action figures, WWF, GI Joe, whatever. Video games too, I remember getting a lot of N64 games when I was like 8.

I liked the N64 games alot..Also had the baseball cards, wwe and of course teenage mutant ninja turtles..THose were the best...

I still hav my Nintendo 64 in my room, though I don't play it. Ok my fav gifts when I was a wee lad were probably a Car Racing Track set I got, Lego, and my PS2. This year for Christmas I am gettin a new MP3 head unit and speakers for my car. :D

I got tons of genesis games while i was 8-10. But my all time favortie, would have to be my godzilla. Smoke would actually come from his mouth. Ahh, i'll never forget that smell

The best toys I had when I was a kid were Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Ghostbusters. Thought the Ghostbuster Headquarters was the greatest toy ever invented....along with the Turtles Sewar System.

I know what I want this Christmas Pic below in my sig.

I loved my Lincoln logs too.

They still have those? My dad talks about them from when he was a kid & he's 65.

Yeah, I think I still have mine.

Not that I use them or anything...
