Yeah, I find myself cheering for the underdogs too even if I pick against them. I just can't get myself to cheer for the ACC.

I don't think they have enough to win this year, but Jeff Capel is going to turn VCU into a badass midmajor. They will be winning tourney games in the future.

I'm 5-2 which is ok, but more importantly I only got the 8-9 games wrong. I am traditionally awful at the 8-9 games anyway. I had both of the picks I got wrong losing in the 2nd round anyway.

Damn.  Great comeback from Southern.  now how big was the s*** call before the half that led to the Bama 3?

That pissed me off and was my only gripe with the refs the whole game.

Darn, 2nd year in a row SIU loses by 1 in the first round. Last year was Missouri.

Thus far today I am 6-2. But like I said, I had Florida going deep, including an upset over St. Joseph.

this is by far the best start to a tourney ever for me. Usually I already have one elite 8 team out already.

Princeton is leading Texas 17-12 with abouty 6 1/2 minutes left in the first.

Down the stretch that had been playing really well and early in the season they were also good. I know they were #1 at one point this year and the only real cold spell they hit was when one of their players left midseason to go to Europe.

 

They hit their snaffo, shot down in the polls and then heated back up. Then again, I forgot the fact that they almost always go down early in the Tourney. For some reason I Thougt this year would be different since they showed so much resilience.

 

As far as St. Josephs, I think they can be beat if someone turns it into a physical game. I don't think Texas Tech can do it, although you never know with Bobby Knight. He could really force St. Joseph out of their game.

I'm perfect in my SoxTalk bracket.....I think this is the only bracket I picked Bama in that 8-9 game. In all my other ones, I have SIU winning that one.

I haven't checked my bracket yet, but I gotta say one thing.

 

G-Mac is G-money. Holy s*** was that a hell of a game for Gerry McNamara. What was it, like 43 points and nine 3-pointers? That is insane.
