Best song of the 90's

Featured Replies

I actually debated this with a friend today.

I thought November Rain, Smells like Teen Spirit for the early 90's

Oasis had some good songs in the mid 90's, and I just don't know what was the best song of the late 90's.

One of the bands I loved in the 90's were the Pumpkins. I don't know about song, but I thought Tonight was one of the best videos of the 90's.

Oasis definitely had sum good songs in da 90's, like Today is gonna be the day dunno if it was called that or not. Smells Like Teen Spirit was also another great one, dunno there's so many good 1's I can't remember.

Oh Macarena by far!

Or Nothing At All by O-Town distant second.

I could go with those.

A few others that stand out to me were Aerosmith's "Living on the Edge" and Pearl Jam's "Jeremy".

Late 90's were kind of crappy for music, pop groups started coming out.

One word:

"HOOTIE"

;)

ur right the song is alright

Hmmmm, there's lots I enjoyed...

Some that haven't been mentioned:

Lithium and Polly by Nirvana

She's Electric and Don't Go Away by Oasis

Talks to Angels by Black Crows?

Mr. Jones by Counting Crows

Little Miss Can't Be Wrong by Spin Doctors

Sex and Candy by Marcy Playground

Breakfast at Tiffany's

and of course:

I touch myself by Divinlys

I loved the Spin Doctors too, in the early 90's. And of my shame, I am still a big Boyz2Men fan. Those Philly kids can sing.

Lithium...hell, that's a song I listen to on a regular basis now a days...in fact, you can see a quote from it in my sig. :)

And Breakfast at Tiffany's...done by Deep Blue Something, I believe.

say the lyrics out loud and make that claim again.

Listen to the music again and argue that it is not the dictonary definition of treacle.

Wonderwall was a wonderful solo album by George Harrison.

""I want to make you my wonderwall" is the most stupid line of the 90s and a desecration of everything sacred.

Other than Goo Goo Dolls almost as stupid line that "don't it make you sad that life is more than who you are."

:bringit :bringit :bringit

true

Breakfast at Tiffanys

Deep Blue something

You say that we've got nothing in common

No common ground to start from

And we're falling apart

You'll say the world has come between us

But I know you just don't care

(chorous)

An I said, "What about Breakfast at Tiffany's"

She said, "I think I remember the film

and as I recall, I think, we both kinda liked it."

And I said, "Well, that's one thing we got."

I see you - The only one who knew me

And now your eyes see through me

I guess I was wrong

So what now? It's plain to see we're over

And I hate when things are over

When so much is left undone

The best song of the 1990s was December by Collective Soul

think about it (at least the guys)

Crap cw, I never realized how sad that song is.

Oh, and I forgot--my two favorite songs ever:

Sunrays and Saturdays and Running on Ice by Vertical Horizon

shine was a better collective soul song

what about song #2 by blur

woooooooo oooooooohhhhhh

shine was a better collective soul song

what about song #2 by blur

woooooooo oooooooohhhhhh

I won't argue with you

but December is more fun to sing... in the right circumstances... ;)

Third Eye Blind- "Jumper"

Good band in da 90's, always like Semi Charmed Life.
