To the players' credit, the ball rebounded off a wall behind the group before heading back toward the field and striking Jennifer Konerko. She was smiling about the incident later while sitting in the players' dining area with an ice pack on her cheek.

March 22, 200422 yr I want pictures. I remeber being younger and sitting right up close behind one of the dugouts and always jupping a little at a foul. Probably is pretty fast. I really wouldn't even pat attention much to it now, probably feel lucky i got a chance at a ball.

I was there yesterday and saw a lot of people get hit off of deflections. March 23, 200422 yr Yes, you did hear correctly. There was a thread about it somewhere. a ok. I missed that. I have been so busy with work and school that I havent had much time to be on here as much as I would like. no doubt over the summer I will be around more often.
