Women's basketball player beats men

Featured Replies

Maybe she can teach some of the players on Tennessee to dunk, or at least hit a layup on a breakaway during a tie game as time expires.

BEFORE time expire you then have to get fouled with 0.2 seconds left

:sleep

There are moments, stunning indelible moments, that transcend sport, crumble barriers and create icons.

There's Billie Jean King beating Bobby Riggs at the Astrodome in 1973. Brandi Chastain clinching the Women's World Cup in 1999. Annika Sorenstam teeing off at the Colonial last May.

What is Brandi Chastain doing in there? Are they implying that the Chinese women's team was on steroids and were all men? ;)

I just saw one of her dunks, and it was nothing special. :headshake

What a weak-ass dunk.

Yeah that was weak, but it's not the 1st time that a dunk champ has won for other reasons than his/her dunks.

Now they're calling her the next "LeBron James"...

Look, it's a bird, it's a fly, it's Queen James! ;)

She has a torn ACL.

She has a torn ACL.

:huh

The Lebron James of women.....BIG difference and a fair assessment. She is the best high schooler in the country according to almost everyone. She is the type of player women's basketball needs--she can dunk!

Yeah, I taught her everything she knows... ;)

Yeah, I taught her everything she knows... ;)

Just Making sure. :D

Harris, do you still go to Central?

Also she won because she was a woman. I'm sure their were some people in that competition that could do some things she couldn't. For the most part she only does the Robert Parish one handed slam.

I've seen here play a number of times and she is the real deal for a woman. She can handle the ball like a man. It's obvious her father and brothers have taught her quite a bit.

Yeah, I still go to Central.

Do you play ball there. I saw them leaving the field yesterday as the rain started to fall. I'm assuming it was rained out.

Also is Steve Kenyon still the wrestling coach? what about Darrin Thompson?

  • Author

No, I don't play there. Also, I am not sure about the wrestling coaches. I will find out and let you know.

What Central?

Women's hoops suck!

Women's hoops suck!

No...all womens sports suck. Only womens sports that are better than mens are Gymnastics, Tennis, and Volleyball. ;)
