Anyone else in my situation...

I switched from Dish Network to Direct TV solely because of no "U" on DN.

A little off the topic but i am also here seeking refugee status from the MLB boards. things get old around there really fast. here's to more lively (hopefully) and more productive discussions (not just one man's rants.)

Going to have to disagree. I like when games are on WCIU. I am actually able to watch them. I am without cable for now so I love when games are on WGN or WCIU.

Corg is a member here, he hasnt posted in months though

I had the same name in mind. :)

Yeah, how do they get an exclusive deal? It pisses me off. I have to watch the WCIU games in my garage on an antenna.

I'm with ya, WCIU games stink.  I got the Xtra Innings package, but WCIU isn't part of the package so unless its carried by another major affiliate, I miss the Sox.

It should be better when they form their new station or at least thats what I'm hoping.

No, it's going to be the same thing just like it is now. Only difference is the team gets more money, you'll still have plently of games on the U.

Funny, I was thinking they were talking about you? ;)

i live in lincoln (central illinois) so i miss all games on wciu which is really annoying but even more annoying is that i can hardly pick up 1000 am so i can't listen to them either and don't want to pay money for a full season of listening over the net when i'll only use it a few of times...

Hey! :fight :stick

I have to watch via my computer. I also can catch the Ranger games.

Seems like I am stuck in the 1950's. The Cubs are on 'GN all the time and I am stuck listening to the radio because WCIU is so limited in it's viewing area.
