I found this interesting because on the Cubune its split between Twins and Cubs... I still don't understand why people concern themselves with the Cubs so much.

Right now you can only say two teams the Cubs or Twins. And that all comes down to if you believe that our rival can be a team not in our league. If you don't, the Twins are the only choice.

 

We have had great rivalries with the Indians and Tigers, but no one cares right now.

The Cubs compete for entertainment (baseball) dollars. Dollars = Colon vs. Diaz in the starting rotation. Dollars = Maggs signed or F.A. Dollars = Foulke or Koch

 

From a current competitive position it has to be the Twins.

For the fans it's the Cubs. For the team it's the Twins.

I say Cubs because they are always hated by Sox fans. The Twins are only hated when both teams are good.

The Twins. For now. I can't say I hate them as much as the Cubs, though, or KC, for that matter. It's hard to hate a team that just plays ball hard every time out.

Twins by far right now. In the 90's, it was obviously the Tribe.

But I have to say, I liked the rivalry against the indians alot better than the one currently with the twins. There was just so much more hate from both teams back then. You can't really hate the twins, those kids bust their balls day in, day out, how can you hate that?
