I know one stupid inning won't make much of a difference, but the Sox starters are all among the league leaders in innings/pitches thrown this year. After seeing Loaiza tire a bit near the end of last season, and Alewife not having thrown 200 innings in a few years, I was hoping to see Loaiza removed after 6 or 7 innings. I agree.. but it's May.. one night tossing 125 pitches, especially when he wanted to, IMO is not going to effect his arm 5 months from now.
