I noticed some of the 9-5 regulars aren't here this morning.

I am off today and greatful for it - I needed a day after Saturday's flight home.

I just got home last night from Fla. but my wife has to work today.

So, I get to do the chores today.

I'm working later today, but I work at a ballpark and I only work part time, so no big deal. :)

I gotta work 12-6 today.

My company also gave us Friday off as a paid holiday.

They're doing the same for the 4th of July.

Four Day Weekends = :headbang

Work is work, except when it is holiday pay. ;)

Yes, half day, voluntary, etc.

We were open today but I wasn't scheduled... :headbang

Well, I kinda worked. My church hosts Schaumburgs annual Memorial Day rememberance. So, being the sound guy, I had to make sure it went off well. It was supposed to be held outside. Needless to say, I have never seen so many people run in so many directions carrying VERY exspensive electrical equipment once it started to down pour.
