Wow, Valentin 8th tonight. Now how is Joe Crede ahead of Big Mo in the lineup? Give Olvio some creidt.

I noticed that the catcher always bats at the end of the lineup. I’m just hoping Joe can have a good day. His batting average has to go up before it goes below .200.

I don't care about the catcher being 9th anymore. Olivo has been hitting, we should shove it in Billy Beane's face and bat him above Crede and even Valentin maybe. Hell, maybe bat him number 2 tomorrow and move Uribe down for the day!

That could be a pretty good idea.

When was the last time a Sox catcher hit higher than ninth? Fisk? Karkovice? (who hit his first homer of the year for me last night on my old-ass baseball game :) )  Even Chales Johnson with his kickass year hit ninth.

That is pretty odd that catchers for the sox rarely bat hgher than ninth.
