There were 2 outs. If Uribe hadn't gotten on safely due to the error the inning would have been over before Jose would even be on deck. Sidenote: I still think Rauch is going to be trade bait. He just about doubled his stock today and that is what KW was hoping for.

June 24, 200421 yr I'm shocked. We actually got a win from our 5th starter. Props to, Rauch. I didn't see the game. But 1 run in 5 innings againt a very potent Indians offense is good enough for me. Now the question is? Do we stick with him? Or is Kenny givin him a chance to raise his stock? Which is what he's no doubt doing right now.
June 24, 200421 yr Just got home from the game, and Rauch did a nice job today. Bent a little, but did not break. Great grab by Rowand, and a BOMB by Valentin. Except for the f***in' non-stop rain, a VERY nice day at the park! GO SOX!!!!

Go get those northside f***s tommorow, Jonny G! Agreed. Rauch went out there and got the job done and I give him mucho credit for that. He was offered a chance at redemption and he made good. But you know how it is. You're only as good as your last outing so he needs to go out there next time and give us a good outing.
