July 21, 200421 yr It's performances like this that lead to me having no faith in this team. The Sox are once again making an absolute lousy pitcher with an ERA of over 7 look like Cy Young. A good team lights this guy up big time! The Sox are simply an average team. They are only competitive in the weakest division in baseball. This is a 4 team race to win the Central. The Sox will absolutely have their hands full with Cleveland and Detroit here in the second half. I agree but you think having no Maggs and Frank has a little to do with it?
July 21, 200421 yr And don't the Sox have Mike Jackson warming up in the bullpen? That's asking for trouble if you ask me. Texas has a 1 run lead and we need to score some more runs here in this inning so Garland can pitch in the 7th, than Marte, and later Shingo.
