July 29, 200421 yr How many people have already confused you with the Sox #1 pick this year? Who was the biggest person to do it? Beastly! Seriously, two questions for Josh. Josh, you mention that the changeup is a new pitch in your arsenal. How long did it take you to feel confident with the pitch, and were there any problems with learning it? What has the Sox organization told you you'll need to work on to get to the big leagues? *Jim I edited it to changeup, cause thats his new pitch*
July 30, 200421 yr I've read that you throw a cutter, two-seamer, slider, and changeup. Which pitch needs the most improving, and what would you consider your 'best' pitch?
July 30, 200421 yr Do you consider it an advantage to be considered by many to be an underrated prospect?
August 1, 200421 yr Hey Josh, how did you hear about this website? He's not like Bullard, Baj, Cotts, or BMac. Jason contacted him about an interview. Edited August 1, 200421 yr by danman31
August 1, 200421 yr Author He's not like Bullard, Baj, Cotts, or BMac. Jason contacted him about an interview. I don't know if Fields posts here, but I was contacted by a rep of his and thats how it all worked out.
