August 28, 200421 yr Chicago Cubs reliever Kyle Farnsworth, frustrated after his outing Friday against Houston, kicked a metal fan and injured his right knee so badly that he had to be placed on the 15-day disabled list. Farnsworth has a severe contusion and sprain of his right knee, and could be sidelined for three weeks. On Friday, the right-hander faced nine batters, giving up six runs on six hits and striking out two in one inning in the Cubs' 15-7 loss to the Astros. As he left the field, Farnsworth fired his glove into the stands, overturned a large Gatorade jug in the dugout and apparently then turned his anger on a large metal fan in the tunnel to the clubhouse.

August 29, 200421 yr Anyone remember a few years ago when he was walking to the bullpen to warm up and just walked to a step and screwed up his foot and had to go on the DL? Walking trouble
August 29, 200421 yr Anyone remember a few years ago when he was walking to the bullpen to warm up and just walked to a step and screwed up his foot and had to go on the DL? Walking trouble Might sound mean, but i thought that was funny. It's not just because it happened to a player on the cubs, if it happened to anyone else i would laugh at it because it is a weird way to get injured.
August 29, 200421 yr Kyle Farnsworth is truly the poster child for and epitome of "million dollar arm and ten cent brain." The guy is a headcase. If he kicks anything, he should kick himself in the ass for being a worthless piece of crap. I think he threw his last pitch as a "Cub" Friday. Too bad, so sad. Loser.
August 29, 200421 yr Wasn't it Farnsworthless who injured his foot a couple years ago by punting baseballs, too? Or was that someone else? I'm pretty sure it was him. What a tard. Oh, and this definitely helps the Cubs, since they can't put him in to allow 6 or 7 runs per outing.

August 29, 200421 yr Sounds like the Cubs' version of Jon Garland. Million dollar arm, ten cent brain as someone else put it... Except - Farnsy's arm is about a twenty million dollar arm...
