August 29, 200421 yr Everything he does points to that. He hustles his but off, sacrifices himself for the team, and thrives to always get better. I think he would be a great team leader in a few years.

August 29, 200421 yr Call me a crazy asshole, because I know it's coming... but for some reason whenever I think of Rowand now, I think of "future superstar". Like, 30 HR, 120 RBI, 30 SB, .320 AVG kinda stuff. Even though I don't see it possible, Aaron could be an excellent 3 or 4 hole hitter.

August 29, 200421 yr I said something like this about a week ago. Your totally right. To me, it looks like he gives the most out there, and really cares about the team. I cant wait to see what Arow is doing in two years. We need more players like Rowand who gives it all out on every play on both defense and offense. Just like the banner says, Rowand is a grinder. If he becomes the captain then good for him. We need hitters like him that make each at bat the best at bat the player can get. Rowand does a great job of adjusting on pitchers.

August 29, 200421 yr Lots of things happened in 2002 that aren't really relevant now. I agree. but the point is that he can bunt. But he has sucked pretty bad this year.
