September 14, 200421 yr I was just thinking about it. He always was a class act. If he could work to regain form and show some improvment in spring training I say we give him a shot. Of course this is all provided he's willing to play for like 500,000 or less. Would anyone else want to gamble on this?

He should get a shot somewhere, but he'd have a better opportunity elsewhere.
September 14, 200421 yr Or how about giving $13 to all of the fans on opening day? That's a better way to waste $500,000.

September 14, 200421 yr Ohh I was just bored and see what kind of reponses i'd get... Why don't you go read a book or something. Billy Koch should never curse these pages again.
September 14, 200421 yr i would take him back. he had a 1.50 ERA in August and just looking at the numbers looks he must be throwing better. http://bigleaguers.yahoo.com/mlbpa/players/6218/gamelog
September 14, 200421 yr I love how Jeckel THINKS he stumbled on some kind of good idea, thorws it out there, then when he gets shut down, he acts like it was a joke.. O Jeckle Its funny because its true
September 14, 200421 yr Two words: f*** NO Let's see if I can take it to ten, just for grins: All applies to taking Koch back: One word: No Two words: f*** no (courtesy ssi) Three words: No f***ing way Four words: Are you kidding me? Five words: Not a chance in hell Six words: This is a real bad idea Seven words: Go stick your head in an oven Eight words: I would much rather eat some fried dirt Nine words: Let me stick something sharp in my eyes first Ten words: Just take me out in back and shoot me now
September 14, 200421 yr Sure, Koch could come back if he gives the Sox $500,000...what?...oh...I see...we would pay him $500,000... Yeeeeeaaaaah, no.

How about getting a real closer for a change. You know, someone good like Keith Foulke.

September 14, 200421 yr What is wrong with that idea? What do we lose? When you have a team that is extremely constrained by a $ cap, you have to get creative and a little lucky to win it all Look at how the Cards are doing with a bunch of players who were injured before (Carpenter) or sucked before in their pitching rotation

When you have a team that is extremely constrained by a $ cap, you have to get creative and a little lucky to win it all Look at how the Cards are doing with a bunch of players who were injured before (Carpenter) or sucked before in their pitching rotation Why would you want him back, so we can see 8 million more koch sucks threads? The guy just doesn't have it in him anymore, where ever he is I wish him the best because he was a class act but I don't want him pitching for the sox ever again.

That the Team will be wasting $500,000. I would want him for a dozen used baseballs and 2 broken bats

Also, I should add...that is with JUST the Marlins. If he ever comes back to Chicago, I hope he had a red C on his hat. Edited September 14, 200421 yr by witesoxfan
