September 22, 200421 yr Jose has always been one of my favorite players. He has had an awful year...but he always busts his ass, he rarely complains, he is a team leader, and he's a great person. I hope that once he retires, he is brought back as a coach. I honestly feel he would be a very gifted coach.

September 22, 200421 yr What he said goes for me too. I'll never bash Jose. He may be "done" but he gave us 4 decent seasons. Actually he gave us 5 seasons. (2000, 01, 02, 03, 04) In them he hit 132 homers which is good for a SS.

September 23, 200421 yr Congrats Jose He deserves it he has done a lot for charity. I got a picture signed by him from sears and all the proceeds went to under privilaged children
