JDsDirtySox
What a bad play by Burke. What a great Play by Uribe and Valdez. Come on Sox.

Gene Honda Civic
Carlos .310 Rowand .311 Can you feel him breathing down your neck Arow?
DBAHO
Joe Crede hitting in the #5 hole. Ugh. :banghead
CWSGuy406
Joe Borchard! Homers! Is Buehrle still in the game? I need a win from him tonight...
WHarris1
I hope he can get his ERA under 4 tonight... It sits at 3.94 right now.
CWSGuy406
I know that this board as a whole has a collective lust for JoeBo, but I'm still cheering for him. I'm hoping he can still become at least a .250 hitter with a lot of power... The guy works hard, he's just gotta put it together.
CWSGuy406
I also think that Uribe is going to be penciled in at either 2B/SS to start next year. Great defensively, and a streaky bat. I won't be too mad about that either, he's a solid ballplayer.
CWSGuy406
White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen indicated that Juan Uribe and Aaron Rowand have earned starting jobs for the 2005 season. Uribe will likely be Chicago's starting shortstop while Rowand will play center or right depending on the White Sox's needs. Sep. 27 - 8:43 am et That was from Rotoworld a few days ago. OK - thanks for finding that, Tony. Now, Kenny, just go and grab Jerry Hairston to play second and Johnny Damon to play center - plus grab that FA starting pitcher with an improved bullpen - and we got ourselves a team. greg775
Nice base hit by Crede going to the opposite field. He needs to do that more often imo.
greg775
I want Ray Durham back instead of Hairston.

Flash Tizzle
Elizabeth! Its the big one! Joe Borchard gets an intentional walk! First team this season a club has respected his power and intentionally walked Borchard to face another hitter. Maybe Tony Pena neglected to glanced over to the scoreboard to observe his bismal .170 average.
Gene Honda Civic
well that worked well.... This just in... Bush say Tony Pena is a Flip-flopper.
Flash Tizzle
After watching WCIU's instant replay of Aaron Rowands HR it amazes me how he derives power. His swing is remarkably quick and efficient. It's as if there's no wasted motion or backwards shift. 8-2 Sox entering the 9th inning. greg775
That close up shot of Jose V showed an aging face. I wonder if he's older than his bio says. He had a great career with the Sox. Hope he doesn't hurt us next year somewhere else. The guy can still hit, but is aging.
santo=dorf
Burke looks like death Why did Konerko get thrown out at third? Was he trying to tag?
qwerty
Why did Konerko get thrown out at third? Was he trying to tag? He was safe though. It seems like they just want to get the game over.
santo=dorf
Borchard K's. Has he gone one game without striking out once (minimum 4 ab's?)
qwerty
Borchard K's. Has he gone one game without striking out once (minimum 4 ab's?) Like someone said he may end up being a poor mans version of adam dunn. Thing is he doesn't walk enough but he strikes out enough and hits far enough homeruns. Guest JimH
Alright. Sox win. Mark, nice season buddy. 16-10, ERA around 3.90. Nice Job. Hey, what happened to Rectum, err, sorry, I mean CRector?? I thought Buehrle was in a "continued decline and fall". Nice season for Buehrle, and he led the Sox in innings pitched.

3E8
Nice season for Buehrle, and he led the Sox in innings pitched. Leader in IP for American League. Only behind Livan Hernandez in all of majors.
elrockinMT
Does Borchard have one multi-hit game this year? Yes, I think so. You'd have to go through old box scores, but I think he had ONE! Lot's of talent and power (8 homers) but he is inconsistent for sure.
