Snowed (okay, flurried) a little bit here today!

lol here in Tejas we already had our first blizzard. Had about 10 inches of snow in 24 hours. Not the worst that we have had by far, but still no fun in my rear wheel drive Mustang.

As long as it isn't during rush hour, I can deal with it lol.

Supposed to get into the 60's again on Wednesday, though...

No wonder I feel as sick as I do...

I know - this flip-floppy "now-it's-warm, now-it's-cold, here's-some-rain" weather has kicked my ass lately.

When I was coming in from Texas on Friday I started not feeling so well (temps bounced around from mid 50s to high 70s while I was there). Then at about lunch today I started running a fever (or so it feels like) and feeling like I was right on that border of getting really sick or beating it. Took my vitamins today and drank plenty of OJ over the weekend. Here's hoping I beat it.

Snow?! I haven't even worn a jacket once since March or so.

Snow

I dreamed of snow in November

Its quiet embrace

Holding us white and unconnected to the world

A floating dream of kisses and snowflakes

* * *

Icy hexagons are stacked up on my sill

No footstep in the drifts

The harsh metallic ring resounds

Of spade on frozen ground

Bow your head

Here comes a hearse

And on it lies my heart, still warm

:)

Lets, just for fun, blame this on Jason.

Damn that Gage to hell!!

Hey, i already blamed Jas for the fall of the White Sox last season....and even though he lives in Cali, he's got to be blamed for the weather here....I bet he feels special  :lolhitting

If you get that snow, you just better not send any to DC or else I will be a very angry person.

lol kapko, good thing South Texas didn't get the snow, you guys don't know how to drive in it :bang .

I'm great at driving in the snow, yeah thats the ticket...

ahhh... just off a back-to-back-to-back 80 degree not a cloud in the sky, no wind, beeeeeaaaaautiful days in Texas.  We didn't get all that snow that the panhandle did.  Must not really be in Texas.  ;)

Just remember this when you come to visit. If you get hit with a snowball... I have no idea where it came from...

snow rocks

i LOVE SNOW!! i'd be so happy if it would snow. :D :D :D

Watching the weather now... it's going to cool down today - to 74. :)

What are these "snowballs" you speak of?

And summer's here to stay down here in the southern hemisphere, well at least when December comes. :P

I can't wait for it to get cold enough for the ponds to freeze up and go play some hockey....

Yeah, thank goodness it doesn't snow in Michigan. That'd sure suck. :rolly

The only thing that bothers me about snow is I think I need to buy new tires. Then again I should buy them anyway. God I hate being broke.
