The Eagles vs the Packers where once again Donovan McNabb will come into his own, and TO will find a new enemy other than Jeff Garcia. ;)

Why aren't the Bears even on that?

Why aren't the Bears even on that?

Because it's not realistic. ;)

Sure it is, they are only 1 game back...

All i have to say is 19.5 quarter back rating last week.

All i have to say is 19.5 quarter back rating last week.

All I have to say is defense and special teams.

And a good running back finally coming back.

They have a chance but it is a very slim one. Next year though is their year to make some noise.

Philadelphia 8-1

Atlanta 7-2

New York Giants 5-4

Green Bay 5-4

St. Louis 5-4

Minnesota 5-4

Seattle 5-4

Arizona 4-5

New Orleans 4-5

Detroit 4-5

Chicago 4-5

And say by some miracle the Bears win their division, and then win a home playoff game against the #6 seed, they would still have to go on the road and win in Atlanta just to even make the NFC championship.

That is why they're not on there.

who else but DA BEARS

I agree it's slim.

But what fun is it if you don't believe?

YOU GOTTA BELIEVE!

I believe, i am just saying krenzel nees to step it up immensely next week. If they don't win next week it will really hurt their chances of playoffs.

True dat, but I think he may actually have a solid game against their sorry ass D. Who knows though?

You know when Terry Shea is talking up Chad Hutchison from his practise reps, you're in trouble. ;)

I just pray for rain for Sunday afternoon here in Chicago.

Like I said in the orginal Bears thread, if we create a big defensive turnover early in the 1st quarter, really build up some momentum, I think Krenzel and the O might actaully wake up. Indy isnt a good football team. There O is amazing, and there defense sucks. Same goes with the Bears, just the exact opposite.

My prediction for Sunday, Bears stay close in the 1st half, but Colts break away in the 2nd.

If the Bears had Urlacher I'd really be intrigued. I still am, but Indy is going to have to play a bad game and the Bears are going to have to play out of their minds.

But the Bears can not turn the football over or make stupid mistakes. Their offense is going to have to do a good job keeping the ball in their hands as well as score. Time of Possession will be key because you can't give Peyton and their offense too many opportunities.

All i have to say is 19.5 quarter back rating last week.

And all I have to say is "W"

I heard it may be freezing as hell and Skilling say chance of snow.

I pray that is what happens.

I also want rain all week and really sloppy conditions.

LOL, on M-J-H, Jurko was actaully being serious, or at least as far as I could tell, he said they used to tell the groundskeeper when they were home to soak the field, keep the sprinklers running on the field all night, say a waterpipe broke or something, but give them some sort of advantage. He said it rarley worked.

:lolhitting

I think s***ty ass conditions really play into our favor.

Wet ball could lead Peyton to turnovers, etc.

I want snow, and FREEZING temps.

Well from what i saw on the forcast...Rain until Sunday....now we all know how reliable weathermen are, but i hope it just keeps raining.

Let's look at this playoff team's schedule:

Indy Loss

@ Dallas (probable win, though on the road)

Minnesota (likely loss, but possible considering it's at home)

@ Jacksonville Loss

Houston (winnable, but Texans are pretty decent)

@ Detroit (winnable, but won't be easy)

Green Bay (GB will come with more fire, won't overlook Bears, likely L)

The 2 losses from the Colts and Jags will put the Bears at 7 losses. They would need at least 8-8 to make the playoffs, 9-7 would probably get them in. I don't think Minnesota will lose to the Bears and the Packers are playing really well right now. The Bears should lose at least 2 of these remaining game putting them at best at 7-9, out of the playoffs. Keep dreaming. Quote me on this when the Bears are picking in the teens again.

Thanks for telling me the future, Miss Cleo... :rolly

I doubt you predicted them beating the Titans, or the Packers either. People need to shut their mouths sometimes.

BTW - you call Jason a Bears fan, but, he's from California and has no bias towards the Bears, IIRC. You put 'other' up there, and when someone says Bears, you jump all over them.

Pathetic.

You can't expect to win many games with a quarter back rating of 19.5, that was my point.

Well I have some bias, they are my team. I also called the Titan and Giant games and was pissed at the Washington/Detroit games cause the Bears should of won both of those games.

As far as the Packer game, that one definately surprised me. But I try to call things like I see them and I see the Bears as an awesome defense and with Thomas Jones a better offense. Jones has the ability to make plays from anywhere on the field and that should really help Krenzel and the rest of the offense.

It still pisses me off though, Jason.

If you put 'other' up there -- and it's a Chicago White Sox fan board -- put two and two together, some people are gonna be Bear fans. We're pumped, three game winning streak, awesome defense, huge game this weekend. So what if we say we think the Bears have a good chance at the title game? No need to get your panites in a knot about it...

That being said, I don't even think the Bears make the playoffs. I think they come really close, but 8-8 or so -- hell, that might get them a wildcard, but I think they come up one game short.

But, surprise me. :)

To vote it is one thing. To actually think it will happen is another.

The last 3 games, the Bears have been insanely lucky. They caught the Giants on the start of their cold streak, just when their O-Line started to pile up injuries, hence they could no longer protect Warner. They played quite possibly the worst team in the NFL, at home, and just only pulled away in the final quarter. The Bears got hammered in offensive numbers against the Titans, yet somehow pulled a win. I can't see these type of victories continuing forever, someone will figure out the Bears D especially now without Urlacher. They are still quite weak in the secondary, and you know Peyton, Reggie, Stokely and Marvin will definitely exploit that this week,
