December 8, 200421 yr I have to say, it really wouldnt matter what we got for Carlos, he cant go. IMO, he is not only the most underrated White Sox, but one of the top 5 underrated players in all of baseball. The guy is a ROCK in the lineup that just keeps getting better. Plus he has done to the work to learn how to field his position. When they first put him out there I thought we were going to have major problems. Since then, he has worked hard and looked very impressive at times. IIRC, there was some gold glove chatter about him last year.

December 8, 200421 yr Author Another guy you could plug in at 1st/DH if Konerko gets dealt, even though I want Gibbons, is Brad Fullmer. Pretty solid hitter when healthy. Not a good defensive first baseman though. He's a DH in my book. Brad is too steroidy.
