That would be a great trade for the cubs, imo. But it's only in rumor stage and we'd have to see how much money they'd pay.

That would be a terrible trade for the cubs...they'd get nothing from that trade..julio is an inconsistent closer...and hairston..geez i havent heard anything about him in the last couple years..but again sosa...God I hate the f***in Cubs anyway! :fthecubs

Fun opprotunity to come in, score more runs with guys behind him.

 

Sat back after ROY season and put a lot of pressure on himself. Went out of comfort zone last year, tried to pull the ball too much. Tried to be a player he really wasn't. Tried to do too much.

Says stealing bases is a lot of fun. Takes pride in stealing, speed is big part of his game. Has learned a lot about jumps and reads. Loves the cat and mouse game with the pitcher.

 

Asked about Rowand playing center, etc.

Doesn't really matter to him. Aaron is a great player, likes chance to play with him.

Says he'd be comfortable in CF and LF. Whatever Kenny and Ozzie think.

 

Listening to him...he has a f***ing great attitude.

If he hits 285 with 60-70 SBs we should be great.

Say's he'd love to bat 1st OR 2nd.

I love how he is willing to go without whatever the coaches want.

He should be fine with Rock as his coach. I envision a 70-80 SB season.

Doesn't wanna put a number on his steals total. Stealing is just a product of him trying to get in scoring position, number isn't important, doesn't wanna set a goal. It all depends on the situtation in the game.

 

This guy is so flexable.

Great attitude so far.

Players with great attitudes = A Good thing.

 

Look at the 2004 Red Sox.

I liked the way he said the game dictates whether to run or not. He does not want to put a no. of SB he wants for next season. Good to hear a SOX player that loves to steal a base.
