My Car Died

Featured Replies

My '91 Nissan Sentra died on Tuesday. :( It lived its life well (130,000+ miles). Now it is time to move on and buy a new one. I am not exactly a car guy, so I need some of your opinons.

I am looking at....

2004 Hyundai Sonata

2003 Pontiac Grand Am

2001 Oldsmobile Intrigue

Any thoughts?

PS: I can only afford up to $13,000.

You should check out the consumer reports at your local public library. It will really help your research and decision-making process.

That is one ugly ass car

i have a '99 grand am that i bought from my dad 2 years ago. It has 100+ miles on it and still runs great. I've only had one problem in the almost 3 years i've owned it and that was a minor power steering hose problem.

I'll tell you what - my little green '98 Chevy Cavalier is over 105,000 miles and ( knock wood ) has NEVER needed a major repair, except for when some drunk-ass lady U-turned right into me.

Cheap car, very reliable.

Sonata Could help ya out.

buy an Accord. no other vehicle compares to the reliability you'll find with a honda, and for $13K you could get a nice looking V6, only a couple years old.

I would avoid the Hyundai. I've had two and wouldn't get one again. They are cheap, but you get what you pay for with them.

I have an 01 Cavaleir and I like it. I think we payed about 8 grand for it in October

Accord Rules :headbang

my brother got an 01 grand am for 10,500 a year or two ago and its been very dependable, besides a brake problem brought about by himself
