So, Oz, what do you think of Hermy's helping to get AJ here?

"I like what that kid did for us, I appreciate it."

What about Orlando Hernandez, what are you thoughts on him?

"I watched him play once, and I said... 'Damn, I like that kid', Kenny went and got him for me."

How's AJ doing meeting everyone?

"You know what, I love this kid! He's doing great."

:lolhitting Nice.

If someone can try to translate what Oz is saying to the people not able to hear the interview, that'd be grrrreat.

I thought he was saying that "winning is fung and fung is winning."

I make da f***ing lineupnotjewwww

He is on. I am waiting for the translation.

Ozzie believes the team fielded this year has an opportunity to win the division.....

First minute or so I couldn't understand a damn word he was saying.

Ozzie is complementing Ordonez's attitude. Claims White Sox management attempted to sign him three different opportunities.

He is on a cell phone which makes it worse. You can't tell if its static or ozzie.

We score 30 runs one game, and then none for the next 3.  We are weely inconsistant..

:headshake Ozzie says he hasn't talked to Frank, but he highly doubts Frank will be ready for opening day. He said he will be able to play this season, but doesn't think he will be ready for the beginnning. :headshake

Ozzie doubts Thomas will be available opening day. Big Frank is still in Las Vegas.

Typical interview; not much substance. I wouldn't expect any Williams-esque clues relating to future roster moves.

EDIT: Interview over.

Ozzie was on Fox news at 9. He said we would not have any problem with AJ. Also rowand was on and said he likes the team make up. He also had no GOAT! :huh :usa

Saw an interview of Rowand on CLTV. Said he "absolutely loved playing for Ozzie". Brings energy, passion to the sox.

ARow said he's working harder than ever this off season to prove last yr wasn't a fluke. A Big relief knowing he's in the lineup coming into spring training.

ARow's no fluke. He's just too solid of a ballplayer to be a fluke.

I agree. But it's nice to see that he recognizes last year was a result of his hard work, that "kicking back" could set him back. His self-motivation is very strong. As long as he's healthy, sox fans don't have to worry about him being a one yr wonder

Another thing, he seemed much more confident and relaxed than in the past. His success prob. had something to do w/ that.

"an opportunity to win the division"??? Really? Just being in the divison means you have the opportunity to win it.

Now THAT'S confidence. :D

Isn't he also playing for a new contract? Which I really don't believe is his only motivation, but hey, any reason for a SOX player to play harder is a good reason.

we need like the top ten quotes of ozzie guillen, him and his accent his hilarious

That is why AROW is so important to this team. His hard work can only rub off on everyone else and it helps the entire team that way.

He's so important, that you were totally justified in saying that twice.
