January 22, 200521 yr it todays NBA being at home is way overated... sure it helps but it aint like it used to be or like it is in College.
January 22, 200521 yr QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jan 22, 2005 -> 09:44 PM) The point is they are starting to play like last years Pistons... They have turned it around after a mediocre start and are playing some good ball. It's not about confidence, or losing 2 games. The 2003-2004 Pistons had a 6 game losing streak, a 5 game losing streak, and two 4 game losing streaks. I'd say that they're pretty f***ing far from inspired during the regular season. If the Bulls beat them, it won't mean a thing. You can't beat this team in a 7 game series unless it's another defensive powerhouse like the Spurs or pre-brawl Pacers. Nobody else stands a chance.
January 22, 200521 yr I don't think we can take them in a 7 game series, but we are becoming a defensive powerhouse type team.

January 22, 200521 yr 360-223 Record of home teams. Look no further than the Spurs who are 21-1 at home. While only 12-8 on the road. Don't tell me home court isn't important. Oh yes...every single NBA team has a higher win % at home.

January 23, 200521 yr QUOTE(qwerty @ Jan 22, 2005 -> 05:15 PM) Home court isn't important. Its usually not important unless the home team gets on a run and all the fans get into to it. Then that can turn a game around

January 23, 200521 yr QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jan 22, 2005 -> 07:29 PM) Does anyone care to fuciking guard Rip? They do, just not well.
January 23, 200521 yr man, if this team could cut their turnovers in half, they'd hardly lose. kirk will heat up in the second half (i hope). and gordon will bring it home to us late.
January 23, 200521 yr Every single rebound their guy will shove our guy under the basket so we have no chance to get the board.
January 23, 200521 yr QUOTE(3E8 @ Jan 22, 2005 -> 09:37 PM) This is nuts. It most certainly is. The Pistons are losing their cool and possibly handing us a victory. This is a playoff atmosphere, what a great game!
January 23, 200521 yr Pistons are cry f***ing babies. As are their fans, i would not be surprised if one attacks the refs, honestly.
January 23, 200521 yr Thread Hijack: Orlando beat Philly 115-111. Nelson with 7 steals. W00t! End thread Hijack:
