If we are talking about "real" fast food joints here...

Anything from In-n-Out Burgers.

Hands down. No competition.

...I hate fast food. Never eat it. Ever.

Best place to play shows at though! Plus a fave to see bands at. But the whole experience was just great, and the food next door made it that much better!

Well, it wasn't Biddy Mulligan's, but it was a fun place to catch good music. I can'r recall eating at the hotdog place next door, but then again there's a lot I can't recall of those nights. :)

The best fast food without compare is Popeye's Cajun Spicy Fried Chicken. It pisses me off that I have to drive to Peoria to get it. Ohh well I'm going to be moving closer to one too.

NOTHING ELSE CAN COMPARE. NOTHING! POPEYES IS KING!

Popeyes with the Cajun Fries and a Coke. Done deal. BEST EVER!

.....Now I need to go to Peoria this weekend, thanks alot.

Yeah, Portillos is the only good "fast food". I enjoy the dipped beef.

The rest, well I think a lot of you know how I feel about fat food, uh, I mean fast food.

I think your blog said it best :D

Inn and Out...ahh yes, I'm one of the few lucky ones to frequent that.

Double Double, Fries and a Coke or Shake is definately near the top.

Also like Wendy's, damn good 99 cent menu but there double stack or whatever they call it is good.

Jack and the Cracks taco's are badass too.

Don't eat that much fast food, but when I do, I go with whatever I'm craving.

Amen! How good I forget the great Popeye's too?! I hate the fact that I can't get fried chicken down at school. Big fan of the spicy recipe. I keep intending to order some of the other cajun items but it never works out.

Anybody remember Genies (I think that is the name) that used to be next door to The Thirsty Whale? BEST Dogs and fries ANYWHERE!!!

yea, you're talking about Gene and Jude's, otherwise known as rubberdogs.

they are excellent, but mixing rubberdogs and beer together usually ends up being a rough night for me!

I have to lose 30 lbs in 2 months, because my mom quit smoking after about 30 years. Shocked the s*** out of me really didn't s*** she could do it. But before the bet my favorite was always KFC gravy on just about anything.

I was going to post it but I figured someone would.

I love their spicy chicken strips.

If you are in Western KY, be sure to stop at one of the local BBQ joints (They're all over) and get a great BBQ sandwich. It's hickory smoked BBQ pork, add their sauce and a little salt, wash down with a beer and it's to die for. Purely local to this area. I've never seen it anywhere else.

I dearly miss the Italian Beef/Sausage combos from the Chicago area. One trip I made up there I bought and froze a dozen of them and brought home with me.

As far as chains go, I love Steak and Shake's burgers and choc shakes.

I probably need to put on another 30 lbs, so there's another incentive for me to get my ass to the States sooner rather than later, and taste all of this great food. :headbang

Down here, the only thing I'd say we'd definitely have more of down here is seafood. You can get some great prawns, lobster and salmon anywhere in town, fresh from the bay. I've gone off McDonalds (thanks largely to Supersize Me), and I only really get Chicken and Chips, and Pizza as junk food nowadays.
