February 3, 200521 yr I just heard a quote from Alford about the situation that basically said "Pierce put the university and program in a bad position and caused it embarassment" (not an exact quote, but something of that ilk) That is one of the most shameful disgusting quotes I have heard in awhile... no Mr. Alford, you put the program in this position. You are an adult, Pierre Pierce is/was a troubled youth who had no respect for women. Instead of taking action against the kid when you had an opportunity, you only saw his potential on the court and used your power to bully and strong-arm the victim and local authorities. You set this predator loose on the public, you should be immediately fired to save the Iowa program some face. Many people say it is the money that is ruining sports. I disagree, it is the way that many athletes are allowed to live above the law and how many completely ignore their victims. This situation makes me sick.
February 3, 200521 yr Happy to see him gone but he has so much talent. A couple years ago at my high schools Christmas Classic B-Ball Tourney, I watched him drop 32 points against some other team. He had an amazing game. He also led Westmont to the playoffs, and Westmont had no other talent on that team. Not tryin to stick up for the guy or anything but wow, what a waste of talent.

February 10, 200521 yr Stolen from an Iowa board but this is reportedly an account of Pierce's recent incident. Pierce decided to go to his girlfriends house in which an arguement occured, the police responded by going to the girls house and telling pierce to leave in which he did. Then later on that night pierce came back and walked in the house and threw her up against the couch he then went into the kitchen and grabbed a knife, the girl ran upstairs and locked herself in a room for 2 hours, thinking by that time Pierce had left she went back down stairs but Pierce was still in her living room, he then grabbed her and stripped her down and choked her and he said " is this how ur new boyfriend does it" and " is this how u like it now" later she managed to run out the door and get in her car but pierce caught up to her and grabbed the steering wheel but she put in reverse and got away, and she then went to a friends house , during this team pierce destroyed the 1st floor of her house and ransacked her room.
