Hawk says that Sammy was "suspeona'd"

They all were.

OT.. Kerry Wood hurt his left leg somehow.. had to leave the game after 2 innings.

i wasnt so much concerned about the length of the swing, but the plane of it. There are a few players that compensated for the length of their swing by quickness and adjusting the swing height and plane.

Its going to be soo fun to watch Podsednik this year

Podsednik steals second but then one pitch later willie takes a walk. First and second one out for everett.

Hawk started giving his home run call when Everet hit one into right-center...it turned out to be a double play because Pods didn't touch third on his way back to second base after the flyout.

Padres in business with a hit and HBP to start the inning and no one out.

Buehrle is out with a double-switch. He just hit a batter. No outs.

Cliff Politte in to pitch. Pedro Lopez in at 2B.

Nice sliding catch by Ryan saves a run and ends the inning.

I think it was Owens. I think Hawk called it wrong

Who is in for Buehrle? NM if I would have read a previous post I would have seen it is Politte... continue on... :bang

No, I'm listening to the Mighty 1090 online radio feed. It's behind by at least a minute.

I think the MLB stream is different from the 1090 stream.

Ah ha.. I thought right.  :D

Well, it's a minute behind but it's also free! Too bad I have to listen to these sucky Padres announcers. :sleep

One of the Padres announcers just called Crede, "Jose Crede." :headshake

6th inning:

- Dye safe at 1st on a dropped 3rd strike

- Crede pops up to 3rd

- Widger grounds into a fielders choice; 5-4, thrown away as Widger stays on 1st

- Ozuna doubles to right center, Widger scores. 5-0 Sox.
