Iguchi flies to right

Crazy Carl up

  • Author

Well, that may be a new Hawk record. :banghead

One batter into the bottom half of the first and he has already bashed "Billyball" as he called it.

Wow.

I'll go with 5 times.

And it's begun!

Bottom of the first. Hawk says that he thinks that Oakland will begin to go back to "conventional" baseball...

Ugh... I don't even want to listen.

DJ just called Iguchi "Taguchi".

Carl pops out to 2nd

Sox go down in order

After 1; 2-0 A's

QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Mar 28, 2005 -> 02:20 PM)
LMAO, Hawk saying you can do anything you want when you have 3 20 game winners, moneyball or not

Where have I heard that one before???? Hmmm... Oh yea, ALL OF SOXFEST :puke

GET A NEW LINE, HAWK!

Where does Hawk's disdain for Billy Beane stem from?

  • Author

First, "Billyball" and then, he called Dan Meyer, Dan Haren at the end of the inning.

Hawk's getting sloppy.

A's win, Sox haven't. :bang

I dunno...

Maybe it's 'cause in "Moneyball", Beane shows a dislike for the older scouts, the ones who go off of 'tools' rather than results/stats. I assume Hawk goes along with the older scouts, though that could be a bad assumption on my part...

No, Haren is pitching

If I hear Garland say " I did my job" after a loss, like he did so many times last year, I'm going walk over there and sit him down myself.

Garland gives up a leadoff triple, holy s***

Ah, that's right.

They just listed Meyer. Good catch.

Please don't. We've had enough problems with fans on the field.

Sac groundout, 3-0

Sorry, you are correct. I'll do it the parking lot.

Uribe really is fun to watch defensively.

First Iguchi then Uribe with solid plays

2 down, nobody on

  • Author

That's it.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say Widger stays with the organization during the season.

I really think he'll see some time with the big league club this season.

Garland is continuously missing Widger's spots.

Crede with an error :banghead

EDIT-Apparently it's a base hit

And then Crede.

Pop up to Crede, inning over

Middle 2; 3-0
