Many members of the White Sox family have talked about AJ

and they haven't said anything bad about him because there

is nothing that he has done to deserve criticism.  AJ talks

about how the rumors in SF were overblown, and recently Matt

Herges came out and said he regrets making comments to the

San Francisco papers about AJ. Remember the story about how

AJ gave Joe Borchard $100 for hitting a homer off of Brett

Tomko?  That doesn't sound like a clubhouse problem to me.

 

Here's some advice from an intelligent baseball fan; Next

time you make up a story, be sure that you check the facts

so readers don't question your credibility.  Under the

current CBA, Major League free agents come with an automatic

no-trade clause until June 15. It is obvious you were not aware of

this while you were "reporting" this "story."

I wrote a rather terse reply to the guy too, but I didn't send it because I was unsure, because he still hadn't reached arbitration, if he fell under those rules.... There would be nothing worse than calling a guy out for not knowing what he was talking about and stirring the pot, only to be wrong.

 

I glanced through the CBA, but I'm terrible at reading those things. Legal jargon always sounds like exactly the opposite of what it actually says to me.

This was said in the st. Paul Pioneer press today.

 

"Word in Chicago is that the White Sox are having second thoughts about their acquisition of ex-Twins catcher A.J. Pierzynski, and might try to trade him soon."

Bruce Levineline just said there is no truth to the Sox wanting to trade AJ its Ben Davis they are willing to trade...as was stated b4. He went so far to say that Ben Davis could be traded by the end of today...

Where the hell have you been? Bruce LeVineLine reported that A.J. is not on the trading block. He also said that the Sox could trade Davis by the end of the day. Widger would be our our backup and Burke would be our third string catcher in Charlotte.
