Finale from Tucson Gamethread - 1:05 CT

Chris Young, after a visit to the mound to the beleaguered Mr. Anderson, hits a screamer to the 3rd baseman.  3 out.  Top on the 9th.  Last chance for the Rockies.  9-7.

Matt Anderson failed with Detroit and he will fail even worse in Colorado. All he has is a good fastball.

How has Baj been pitching this spring? I haven't heard much about him lately.

Wow, some nice 2 out hitting by our guys.  I guess Ozzie's motivational speech before yesterday's game worked. :headbang

He let the kids know what he wanted!

There is a Boomer Berry in the farm system.

I believe he played for Great Falls.

Jeff went from 0-2 to 3-2 and then induced a pop up that was dropped by Valido in foul territory, as Shnurstein got in the way. Then a fly to center. 1 away.

PS, i was the first to say his name, I will take credit for discovery

you should be allowed to name him whatever you want then...

I would go with hitosaurus.

Then Baj blew Viedro away on fastball, curve, fastball. 1 out to go.

I like it

Farmer praising Billy Beane. I'm in shock. I thought bashing anything tangentially related to Moneyball/James/stats was written into Sox announcer contracts.

All I can find is that Layne Berry was a pitcher for the Arkansas Razorbacks in 2002.

The prodigal son just served up a sweet one to Sullivan. Gone.

Baj, then went 3-0 on Corey Sullivan, before getting a strike and then serving up a home run. 9-8. Then J. Owens hauls in the 27th out with a fine running catch in left. That's a White Sox Winner!

Rock, your discovery has been debunked..... He was a Razorback.

Good come from behind win to leave Tucson. And great PBP.

That'd be hilarious if Berry was in fact the guy Kenny traded for in the infamous Berry/Barry mishap. Who's laughing now LA?

Ok, this has been driving me crazy.

Is that Michael Bates from "A Clockwork Orange"?

If so, that is one of my favorite movies of all time.

I've like watched the ultraviolence many times my brothers.

Oh so right my merry droog. I've considered it my favorite movie since it came out. I was a psychology student at University at the time and I loved it. Like receiving a social 'tolchok' to the 'yarbles' it was. I couldn't find a picture of him on the Internet, so I queued up the movie on me own 'tely' and captured me own digital image of him.
