April 7, 200521 yr Less than two years ago, Brad Wilkerson hits for the cycle and now does it again in just the Nationals 2nd game ever. I'm sure most of you know who he is already but it's great to see that he can finally play where he'll get some more national attention.
April 7, 200521 yr He's so effing good. And (speaking of the Nationals) if Konerko leaves next year, I want Nick Johnson. Only problem is that he's injury prone, but I'd take him.
April 7, 200521 yr Wilkerson is one of my favorite players in baseball. Very soon he is gonna asplode very soon might be this year or might be next year but it will happen.
April 7, 200521 yr I picked him up on my fantasy team and my friend was all confused as to why. Wilkerson is gonna be great, i'm a big fan.
April 7, 200521 yr I love it when people hit for the cycle. We need another one to do it soon. Who do you guys think has the best shot for the Sox? I'd say either Uribe or Podsednik.

April 7, 200521 yr Willie. I'm not joking either. I was at a game where he had 5 hits, so it is possible.
April 7, 200521 yr QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ Apr 6, 2005 -> 08:37 PM) Willie. I'm not joking either. I was at a game where he had 5 hits, so it is possible. I thought about saying that. lol inside the park homer though.

He'll sign before season's end...Tons of players aren't loyal, but Konerko IS! We won't have to worry about our 1B for a while...And that's something that's definitely a plus.

It would probably take quite a bit to get him, but he is so solid. I

April 7, 200521 yr I played him on my fantasy team -- he didn't help as much as you'd think. I'd expect more runs, especially. If anyone can give me a good reason to bat Christian f'n Guzman second in the lineup, ahead of Jose Vidro (!!!!!), I'd love to hear it.
April 7, 200521 yr Author The only reason is Wilkerson just doesn't produce the same way when he doesn't bat leadoff. Well Guzman still shouldn't be batting 2nd but Wilkerson could really increase his production if he could hit a little lower in the order.

But yeah, he has decent speed and a very good bat, he is gonna be a great player in this league.
April 8, 200521 yr QUOTE(qwerty @ Apr 7, 2005 -> 06:48 AM) I would give them two or three podsednik's and whatever else they want. Yeah, I think Willie + Borch should seal the deal.
