Crede batting ninth when he is hitting as well as anyone on the sox right now is what is stupid. What has widger or uribe done that they deserve to be batting higher?

In the AL, is that really as important? With the DH, it's not like the every third inning off offensive mentality of the NL I thought. Or am I way off here?

I don't think so, but qwerty's got a point - generally you want your better hitters higher up in thelineup so they'll get more at bats. Having Uribe before Pods assures that the speedy guys won't get clogged on the bases with slow guys ahead of them. Now Crede's in the middle of them.
