I figure you can get the postgame show. I clicked on Game Night and am getting the ESPN update, so maybe thats the link you should click? Of course this is probably the national feed.

Is there a way to check and see when Hunter umps a game in Chicago?

Side note: This could potentially light a fire under their asses. Ozzie is certainly going to be ticked off and he does not go quietly...

Excellent road trips guys. Come home, get healthy and beat Detroit.

What is the status on Iguchi, Uribe, and Ozuna

I've been gone all day.

ah, f*** it. It's Oakland.

I can't see how they would be able to play on Friday considering they were so banged up that they couldn't play in a super bind today.

Alright ESPN 1000 on. New question, how long after the game does the press conference usually start, or have I already missed it?

Some other thing I'm a little ticked about is the fact that the league called Ozzie and said theyll be watching and will take action if the Sox pitchers throw at Oakland. That is complete bulls*** when you have 4 batters hit and they have none. Yeah the league should take action if the situation gets out of hand, but that is just baseball.

Widger played 3rd f***ing base!?!?!?!?!

Crede at SS?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Dont forget Dye at SS when Crede was tossed.

Oakland is like the Twilight Zone for the White Sox. The YNOT should have asked whether Crede would play SS. Unreal.

We played one errorless ballgame & one. We then played two error-prone ballgames & lost. Add in two bizarro calls late in the game vs the Sox & that was the strangest series I've seen in years.

Hopefully they will be healthy when they return home.

Did anyone get to hear a postgame? Did Oz, Crede, or anyone talk?

Im honestly happy I did not see it, and only got to read about it after the game was done.

I probably would have had an aneurysm and stroke at the same time.

SB

You know what's scary? I think it could have actually been worse than Dye playing short. Just caught this at Whitesox.com...

"Both relief pitcher Cliff Politte and outfielder Jermaine Dye volunteered to play the infield if needed, having previous experience from their early baseball days. With the way things are going on the White Sox injury front, they might be in there by the fifth or sixth inning."

They wrote that before the game, I think. Anyone else want to Picture Widger...Politte...Dye...and Konerko as our infield?

Just picturing politte at short makes me pretty sick.

- K. Ginter safe at first on third baseman P. Ozuna's fielding error : didn't hurt us

- E. Chavez scored on balk : hurt us

- M. Scutaro safe at first on right fielder J. Dye's fielding error, M. Scutaro to second : hurt us

- E. Byrnes safe at first on shortstop W. Harris' fielding error, M. Scutaro scored, M. Kotsay to third : hurt us

Tues: The Umps & the White Sox gave Oakland that victory.

- J. Kendall singled to right, E. Byrnes to third, J. Kendall to second on right fielder J. Dye's fielding error : hurt us.

Durazo is a .333A 1.044OPS player w NON, 0 outs. He drops to .267A, .620OPS with NON, 1/2 out. If that play is turned Chavez likely ends the 8th & Hatteburg is leading off the 9th. Hatteburg hasn't reached base vs Marte in 3 yrs.

Top 9th

- J. Dye flied out to center

- A. Rowand hit by pitch

- A.J. Pierzynski walked, A. Rowand to second

- C. Widger flied out to left

- J. Crede popped out to second

As an umpire you give the hitter the benefit of the doubt when the pitcher has already beaned a player. You learn that early on when umpiring LL games where it's much more common. But I doubt if it makes a difference. If Crede gets on, Timo faces a BL, 2 out situation. You still need a hit to score a run & Timo is struggling.

Playing extra innings favors the A's because of the Sox D lapses in the past 2 games & a makeshift IF.
