Diehard Fans...

Featured Replies

I know most of us call ourselves "die-hard" fans but what makes somebody a die-hard fan? In 1 line/sentence/phrase, tell me what (action) makes you a die-hard fan... I'll start off:

You know your a die-hard fan when you skip school to watch a game

When your moods revolve around the team. You have season tickets, and at least mark certain periods in your life by what happened to the sox that day.

And, you post on this board religiously!!

IM finally in triple A, yes!!!!

Your a diehard fan when you're a season ticket holder that has their entire day f***ed up with a loss, not to mention-can't sleep after an L

I would say belonging to a white sox message board should do the trick.

When you can't sleep at night after a tough loss? When you plan your entire day around the Sox game? When you blow off friends to post at Soxtalk? lol

You're a diehard fan if you've ever shot somebody for hating on the sox..

"That'll work."

You drag your pregnant wife in her 7th month down to Tuscon last year to watch the sox future battle in the springtime sun. This year you bring the entire family. You go to soxfest year in and year out. And even though they have the best record in baseball you live and die with each win and loss.

I'd argue if you have to ask yourself if you are a diehard fan, you're probably not. :huh

EDIT: By the way, I don't even like this team. Never have. Never will.

I think people who make remarks about people who argue about being die hard fans are not die hard fans themselves! :nono

You're a die hard if you've ever cried over something involving your team.

You're a diehard fan if...

...you have many many holes in your walls from games

...you fake sick to watch day games

...you feel like every pitch is the end of the world
