May 19, 200520 yr QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ May 19, 2005 -> 06:05 PM) >>> And yes, that is actual whale s***. WOW. A picture of whale s***... this board has sunk to new lows.
May 19, 200520 yr Like many others, frank thomas is the reason i became a white sox fan when i was growing up.
May 19, 200520 yr My favorite, despite the screen name, is Mike Squires. He was the reason I watched the Sox. I always asked why lefties couldn't play third or catch, and Mike Squires was the first one in a long time who did both. And well, if I remember correctly. Also, Har-old, Black Jack, Greg Walker, Luzinski, Fisk and Thomas.
May 19, 200520 yr QUOTE(greg775 @ May 18, 2005 -> 11:11 PM) Considering the fact the White Sox haven't exactly had the most stellar history of all teams, out there, with dozens of Hall of Famers, I was wondering if Mark Buehrle has become your favorite Sox player of all time. He gets the ball and pitches it w/out bleeping around. He has a good personality with the media and fans. He has never been a brat with his contract. Mark B is creeping into my top five Sox of all time. Dick "don't call me Richie" Allen. My first favorite Sox player and my all-time favorite Sox player. Always was, always will be.
May 19, 200520 yr QUOTE(Middle Buffalo @ May 19, 2005 -> 06:08 AM) Probably not the most popular opinion, but I don't think Frank is a HOF. I think his declining numbers in the past few years hurt his chances. First 6-7 years - absolute first ballot, but not anymore me thinks. Still can't wait for him to come back. What part of 10th highest OPS in major league history at the age of 36 doesn't register up there in that dome of yours? Like someone else said, just go away.

May 19, 200520 yr Well, I can't pass up a request. Watch out for that bubble! That's a pic of a minke whale taken by an Australian biologist who confirmed that they had to move away from the bow of their vessel very fast because of the stink.
May 19, 200520 yr Whale #1: You see those scientists on the boat? Whale #2: Yeah? Whale #1: Wanna see them scurry like alewives? Whale #2: YEAH!!! Whale #1: Alrighty then, pull my dorsal... Whale #2: DAAAAAMN!!! Look at 'em run!!!
May 19, 200520 yr Been a Sox fan since I can remember, the first time I really remember watching games is the early 90's: My favorites: 1) Buehrle, bar none. 2) Ray Durham, as Ray went, so went the Sox. 3) Frank Thomas, as much as I've ripped him for his contract stuff, he was a main reason I loved the Sox when I was 8 years old. 4) Lance Johnson
May 19, 200520 yr He's not even my current favorite. Right now he's at 3 right behind Garland and Thomas. Well actually lower. I like Crede over him. He's probably my 2nd favorite pitcher though as of now. BTW, FAVORITE SOX EVER = MICHAEL JORDAN. Edited May 19, 200520 yr by nitetrain8601
May 20, 200520 yr QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ May 19, 2005 -> 12:44 AM) You don't have to agree. I doesn't bother me too much. I remember Herb, I pretty much liked him for his name.
