No.....Cliff was the right call there.  We're upset that he pitched to Lee in that situation.

???

Put the winning run at the plate? That's stupid, you don't do that.

I still like pitching to Lee there....you have to try and avoid having the lead run hitting in the inning.  Walking Lee would have given Burnitz a chance to hit a 3 run homer and grab the lead.  Unfortunately the strategy didn't work....but I agree with pitching to Lee.

Welcome to SoxTalk sin city! :cheers

You don't, period.  That was Lee's first hit of the series, burnitz has the only rbi today, you don't put the tying freaking run on base, just doesn't make sense.

Anyways, lee picked off, HE GAWN!!!!!

I see your point, and I offer mine.......who do you think has a better chance at getting the guy out: Cliff vs Lee or Marte vs Burnitz?

That's a brain fart if I've ever seen one. That reminds me of Mark Grace falling for the fake to third throw to first pickoff move a few years ago.

LEE WAS JUST f***ING STANDING THERE WHEN KONERKO GOT THE BALL

HE WASN'T f***ING PAYING ATTENTION!!!!!!!!1

LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!

Hermey time in the 9th.............we got this s***.

I also agree with pitching to lee.....he really hasnt been on this series anyway....no harm done Cliff had a bad inning....oh well we will get over it

Ah, memories... :cheers

Hopefully Dusty leaves Hawkins in longer so I can here the Cubs fans boo him some more.

With first base open and two out and one of the hottest hitters in baseball up, it's not unheard of to put him on base. Not necessarily an intentional walk but at least pitch around him. No reason to challenge him like that.

Why's it stupid? I've always believed that you shouldnt let the opposing team's best hitter beat you. Anyways, it's on to the 9th inning. I'm just thankful that Lee didnt hit that hanger out of the park.

Game's not over yet, it'd be nice to see a few more White Sox cross the plate.

Come on bottom of the order, make Herme's job easier.

We are moving toward the bottom part of their order for the 9th, correct?

Do you bring in Dustin or leave in Marte to face the 2 lefties?
