You do realize every single team in the majors would have sent Pods there?  He almost scored, and any throw up the line would have scored him.  God knows I dislike Ozzie's decision more than anyone else....but that was the right call.

i have to disagree. blindly sending a runner doesn't make sense. and he didn't almost score. he was out by a mile. but my point still remains. we NEVER score on that play. i cannot recall the last instance that we scored.
