Read the title of the thread. ;)

Bingo...

1.)  Willie Harris for Wes Helms trade.

2.)  And now the big trade that the Cubs were supposed to make this week for a "significant bat."

And Ozzie getting his new deal.

Yes it is now the inevitable, but it certainly was not official.

Prior got hit hard in the elbow. He's not feeling so hot.

And, of course, we had the "why do Sox fans hate the Cubs so much" debate.

how could we not resist the temptation to celebrate priors injury

QUOTE(Steff @ May 27, 2005 -> 02:07 PM)
No report on air. They would not allow that without absolute confirmation...  :nono

That's right - that's what the SCORE is here for!!

:D

Personally, I don't want anyone to get injured, whether it's Prior, Johan, or anyone else. I'd like to see them knocked around FIGURATIVELY speaking, giving up 7 or 8 runs per game, but being happy to see someone injured? no.

game update - the Mighty Neifi hits one out to make it 7-1 Cubs. I'm starting to fear that not even the Cubs' bullpen can blow that lead....

As much of a prick I think he is, I wouldn't wish this on anyone. Hope he'll be okay.

Why not? Most of the stuff Levine reports anymore isn't true anyway.

Not true. He reported alex cora was signed by the indians... two days later. ;)

That's right. His cell phone was going off, and then had breaking news.

After it had already been reported by a Cleveland newspaper! :lolhitting

Wow, the Rockies pitching really sucks ass.

Everything about the Rockies sucks ass!!!

Todd Helton, Clint Barmes, Aaron Miles, Shawn Chacon, and Jeff Francis are good ballplayers but that's about it.

Thomsonmi can attest to that.

Yep, and they can't blame the horrendous road record on Coors Field, either.

The last time I saw a batted ball hit a pitcher that hard and that squarely was back in the 70's, when Ron LeFlore broke Wilbur Wood's kneecap.

if every game were played in colorado they might win a world series

No, cause the road team would get to play there as well. :P

ESPN 1000 is specifically reporting no word on Prior's injury.

Weird thing is some of the young guys they have pitching for them actually perform better at Coors then on the road.

Well, pitching against the Sox offense there in about a week won't hurt.

Just to give everyone an idea as to how hard it hit him, the ball was caught on a line drive in foul territory by Ramirez for the out.

That's a depressing thought.

If our hitting doesn't pick it up, maybe we should get drunk before the game.

Wow, this Rockies pitching is friggin' tee-ball.
