Crede gets a great pitch to hit, and puts his usual awful, uppercut swing on it and fouls it off.

Nice groundout, Cruddy!

Crede's crew is parked right next to Jose Jose Jose's crew.

and D'Angelo's.

I wanted to start the Wunsch Bunch last year, but good ole KW screwed with those plans.

How old is Fields now?  It's not like we're talking about a high school player advancing through the system.  The problem is that QBs haven't had success making the adjustment over time.

By young I wasn't really talking age although I think he is only 22 yrs old. He was drafted in the 1st round of the June 2004 draft out of OSU. He started in high A Winston-Salem and hit .285 in 66 games. In 2005 he began in AA Birmingham, so he is really only beginning he second year in pro ball.

That is what I meant by "young". I am sure it is a big adjustment not only from football to baseball , but to wood bats.

the praying smiley said it not me..

The astonishing thing about Crede is that his problem is pretty obvious in my mind:

SWING IS TOO f***ING LONG!

Is anybody telling him this?

there's no way the Sox are coming back in this one, this offense can't get anything done...oh, we're winning. how bout that?

Corpseball -- can you just taste the outs?

Still have 2 more innings to go. This game should have never been as close as it is.

They just bust Crede with fastballs because they think he's got a slow bat

he does, he's got a long swing. maybe a hitting coach of some sort could tell him to shorten it.

Shhhh....don't tell them that...they might do something rash.

I'll never understand why Pods doesn't bunt for a hit more. He's a great bunter, but rarely uses it unless someone's on base.

When I hear Hawk and DJ talk about the shadows, I feel like that's what we're depending upon to keep this game 3-2.

Timo in for Frank? Kill me now...

Great. Took a call from a customer who is moving and not using me anymore.

Oh well, back to the game, Crede still suck?

Holy f***ing s***. That's just insane.

Before anyone says anything, I'm sure it's not entirely Crede's fault. When was the last time he got a hit? He's been out of his rhythm because he's been concentrating on defense.

Timo PHing for Frank. :banghead f*** everything.

Iguchi is still the man.

Maybe Crede needs another 6 months in his batting cage in Missouri.

way to piss the fans off Ozzie

Greg Walker reworked Crede's swing at the end of last season and all winter.

At some point, the facts cannot be ignored.

dude has a long, slow swing.

if we can get some team to take a chance on him, package him.
