June 30, 200520 yr Author Buehrle, Garland, Hermy, Politte, Garcia.....all worthy of All-Star appearances. All NOT gonna make it.
June 30, 200520 yr QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Jun 30, 2005 -> 04:26 PM) The sox are so good they are almost boring at this point, if you know what i mean. I know this isn't what you mean, but I must say, I won't get tired of winning.

It's just that you look up at the end of the game and the Sox just pounded your ass again, in a very takin-care-of-business fashion. I know we've had some dramatic wins, but this team just pounds teams into the ground.
June 30, 200520 yr With the Angels giving up 18 runs today (last I checked), it's safe to say the Sox pitching staff leads baseball in ERA again.
June 30, 200520 yr QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Jun 30, 2005 -> 02:26 PM) The sox are so good they are almost boring at this point, if you know what i mean. After last night, a boring game is just what the doctor ordered.
June 30, 200520 yr Every single time this team has had a bad series, they just come right back and kick some ass, really amazing!!!!!!!!!!

Let's see. 1 run, 3 runs, 1 run, and 2 runs given up in the last 4 games. EDIT: Let's expand: 1, 3, 1, 2, 6, 2, 1, 1 8, 3, 3, 0 in the last 12 games. That is so f***ing awesome. June 30, 200520 yr I knew Freddy was going to have a big game when he struck the one dude out in the first on three straight sick-looking curveballs, and struck the next guy out on 2 curves and the gas.
June 30, 200520 yr I would just like to add... I guarantee there will be pitchers chosen to the All-Star team with worse numbers than Garcia.
June 30, 200520 yr QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jun 30, 2005 -> 03:41 PM) Now lets go to the 4th cavern of Hell and win a series this weekend. If we do that, it's definitely our year. Hopefully, we have a different umpiring crew than the last time we're at that place.
June 30, 200520 yr BROOMS b****ES!!!! SWEPT THOSE COCKY COCK SUCKERS OUT OF THEIR OWN HOUSE. EAT s*** TIGERS!!!!!
June 30, 200520 yr I usually don't brag, but I told Freddie in a thread here that he needed to bear down from the start of the game and get people out. I also urged the Sox hitters to produce. Thank you very much...
June 30, 200520 yr QUOTE(Jabroni @ Jun 30, 2005 -> 04:23 PM) Freddy is making his case to be an All-Star... 8-3 with a 3.29 ERA Another good outing before the break and he's in. Possibly he deserves it, but I don't see three starters from the Sox on the team.
June 30, 200520 yr Possibly he deserves it, but I don't see three starters from the Sox on the team. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Francona has Sox connections, and if we still have the best record then, theyll have to a find a way to represent them at least a little.

True. But we will not have 3 starting pitchers. It will be Garland and/or Buehrle. That may be it. If we have a third rep, then it will be Hermanson. I guess we'll just have to wait until Sunday. Then we can debate about who got screwed.
