From what I've seen of McCarthy this year, his curveball doesn't seem like the type of pitch which will fool a lot of batters. Sure, it looks nice, but he doesn't seem to fool a lot of hitters with it.

Duque's not pitching before the ASB, I thought. McCarthy is going to face Oakland this weekend, I thought? Or will we skip him with the off-day we have on Thursday?
