Unis...

Why don't the Sox wear the sleeveless uni's anymore??? Those were my favorite!!

Yeah, I love the sleaveless ones. They hardly ever wear them anymore. Instead they are overusing the black ones IMO.

The starting pitcher picks which uniform the Sox wear.

I hated those sleavless ones.....I'll take the black anyday.....my personal fav is the grey road jerseys

Yeah, most fans do for some reason. I have no idea why. I think we have the best sleaveless jerseys in the leagues.

I love that one too.. the cursive Chicago across the front.. that is a great uniform.. I think we have the best uniforms in the league.. I love em

They should go back to the shorts. They were badass!

I'm looking forward to the cami's, ala San Diego Padres.

My only interest in this thread is:

How many different ways can we spell sleeveless? :huh

No s***? I never knew that. You learn something new every day.

Despite the hot and humid weather at the start of Wednesday's game, Freddy Garcia insisted his teammates wear their heat-absorbing black jerseys. The starting pitcher typically gets to choose what uniforms the team will wear and what music is played in the clubhouse before the game. The superstitious Garcia believes he pitches better in the black shirts.

Garcia was charged and subjected to a fine in the team's kangaroo court Tuesday for making the Sox wear black shirts during a hot day game June 24 against the Cubs. Garcia argued that he pitched well, giving up one run in seven innings, and that the Sox scored 12 runs. He said his argument worked, and he was spared a fine.

I think San Diego only wears camiflouge because of the naval base near there--so I would be pretty shocked if the Sox got them.

And when I first read that post I thought he was talking about these camis. And I was very confused.

Can you imagine how sexy Frank Thomas would look in one of those? Meow.

Not to be confused with Camus. And I can't...I just can't imagine Sisyphus happy. :P

Didn't they wear the sleeveless jerseys for the Saturday cubs-Sox game at the Cell -- the game Contreras pitched? I was in the UD for that one but I'm pretty sure that was the only time I've seen those jerseys this year.

We have Great Lakes Naval Base. They should have worn them for the White Sox Special Regiment ceremony on Tuesday. Would have been perfect!

Btw, I would go with the silver cami's with the tiny lace trim. The color would look nice with their shoes.

LOL!

I liked the sleeveless before this year. I know they're more tradiitonal now, but I liked when they just had the sewn on black sleeves.

I really like the sleeveless jerseys, but I think I'd be more comfortable in a black jersey than I would in a sleeveless with a t-shirt underneath.

They're wearing the sleeveless ones tnoight. Thank you Jon Garland. You have answered my call!!!!

Also note that they went back to the oldstyle where it's an actual vest. Not that black sleeve connected to the white vest crap.
