Wow, with some of the bullpen issues some of the contenders are having, I can't believe noone took a risk,

Agreed. Hopefully he can get his stuff back in AAA and contribute to a team again.

He sux, it's no secret.

Talk about guy going into the s***ter in 1 year. I mean, not too long ago there was a whole dog and pony show for this guy when he came into the game, lol.

Yeah we caught thunder in a jar with that guy.

Sucks to be them, because he will be good again, he is a true pro with years of experience.

Best of luck to Shingo. There's no denying that he's been next to ass-awful this year, but I really hope he can turn it around in Charlotte and then make the team in September come the roster expansion.

He was effective for how many years in Japan? MLB figured him out in 1 year, lmao.

Nobody figured him out, he lost his control and that's why he got hit.

Yeah but he was way past his prime even last year.

His control was not what it was last year. If he gets that back, and he did have it back for a while this season, he still would be fooling hitters. His strikeout rate is still pretty high. IIRC its still over 1 an inning, and considering he throws nowhere near 95, the hitters don't have him totally figured out. Doug Jones went through a year or two of being tatooed and he was the same kind of pitcher Shingo was. He came back, I believe Shingo can as well.

I doubt it, but anything is possible, time will tell.

He will be productive for us by the end of the year. How Wille Harris (BA about .220) and Vizcaino stick arund and he is gone is a complete mystery.

I believe I've read a column or two by him there, I'm not sure if he does it all the time but I'm pretty sure he's written atleast a few columns for them.

He's not a regular like Sanberg but he has written a few columns. They have like 20 ex MLB players writing for them.

Eh.. nope.

That's about what he said.
