I thought it was funny. He was joking around IMO. I do it all the time when I play baseball and there is one out. It's also the signal for beaning a batter when you're catching.

Timo is brutal in the field. Last year when the Sox came South to play the Marlins, I watched the 3 game series from the First base /RF lower boxes. Timo was in right for the series. I never knew anyone could play RF so badly and be in the majors. Slow to break on the ball. Terrible angles to the ball. No arm. My friends who didn't even know who he was ragged on him the whole series. Timo spelled backwards is OMIT.

The one time timo drops a fly ball because he doesn't want to use 2 hands i'm going to flip out.

Whenever i'm at a game and have the unfortunate experience of having to watch timo play, i will scream at him to use 2 hands when the ball is in the air. People look at me like i'm crazy like "how did you know he would only use one hand?"

He hasn't done much to warrant a b**** out thread as of late so I don't mind. I also think he was messing around with Uribe after that play. I think Uribe was saying something because when they panned out he looked to be gesturing or saying something to Timo.
