If Jose Contreras could avoid throwing 100 pitches in less than 5 innings, maybe Ozzie wouldn't have to go to his f***ing bullpen in the 6th. Contreras' pitchcount is what got us in trouble initially.

Cotts threw 15 pitches and Cliff threw 16. I am pretty sure that they could have worked a bit longer.

so we put gascan in first and give up a quick 3...no matter what 6th inning MR is playing with fire no matter how you slice it.

 

If Marte had it we could've maybe gone Cotts/Politte/Marte/Hermanson over four. I'm sure that's what Ozzie initially had in mind...

I hate how Polite and Cotts are used so early. I hate how Jenks is not used in the late innings. I hate marte against lefties. I hate Vizcaino used in anything but long relief and mop-up.
